Fees and Insurance

Intention Health Psychology does not take insurance directly and you will not be able to use insurance if you have an HMO, Medicare, or Medi-Cal. If you have a PPO insurance plan, you may be able to get reimbursed for some portion of your therapy since Intention Health Psychology would be considered an out-of-network provider. If you would like to seek reimbursement from your PPO, you should contact your insurance to find out about your out-of-network mental health benefits. You’ll want to find out your deductible and what percentage of session fees your insurance will reimburse. If you do plan to use out-of-network benefits, you will be required to pay for your session in full at time of service, and Intention Health Psychology can provide you a Superbill to be submitted to your insurance.
